Edward "Babe" Gomez Heritage Elementary School

Last year our students planted maintained and harvested 3 raised garden beds. With the support of this grant we will be adding an additional 5 raised beds made out of old donated tractor tires with plans for a 6th additional area. Students sold the produce in the fall to help towards this year's cosst. With the expansion of our garden area we want to transition our school garden into a community building opportunity where parents-students work together to see great things happen w/teamwork
