East End Community School

Our goals are to intensify our use of the garden to grow more healthy food for students and to provide more students with opportunities to participate in the garden in a hands-on manner. Thus far we have concentrated on building the garden and establishing it as a key part of the school community. The project is in a prime location and moment; it could be the focal point of intergenerational and multi-cultural community activities as well as the lifeblood of interdisciplinary learning at EECS.
