Dewey Elementary School

The goal of the project is to provide an organic edible garden space and outside learning environment that is wholly integrated into the school's curriculum. The garden will allow each student at Dewey school to be involved in every aspect of gardening and to make the connection between growing and eating healthy local food with the nutritional needs of growing healthy bodies. .Finally the garden will be the place to reinforce becoming environmental stewards.
