Life Frames, Inc., the non-profit sponsor of A Living Library, works with diverse schools and communities, creating place-based, ecological transformation and greening of school-yards and neighborhoods.

Our Branch Living Library & Think Park Program in San Francisco works with over 1,000 children, youth, adults, year-round, during the school day, after school and summers, at six schools in three neighborhoods: Excelsior, Bernal Heights, Chinatown. Students at each Branch are greening their school and community through hands-on, interdisciplinary, standards-based learning opportunities. Older youth are mentors during out-of-school time for younger ones & receive a modest stipend.

In NYC, the Roosevelt Island Living Library & Think Park is also underway, transforming the environment by working with three schools and hundreds of children year-round, with caring adults.
