Saturday, April 25: ESY Plant Sale x BUSD Climate Fair

We are excited to host our annual plant sale in partnership with the Berkeley Unified School District’s annual climate fair! Join us on Saturday April 25th, from 10 am - 2 pm. Stock up on plants for your home garden, purchase Edible Schoolyard swag, or simply bask in the beauty of springtime in the garden!  There will also be hands-on learning stations throughout the garden highlighting practical ways we can care for this beautiful planet, including growing our own food, planting native plants, composting, using natural dyes & mending clothing, and more!  

Proceeds of the plant sale and Edible Schoolyard merchandise support the Edible Schoolyard’s general operating expenses so we can provide garden and kitchen education for all King Middle School students. Our program aims to enhance students’ food knowledge, climate stewardship, and sense of belonging, while also providing a thriving green space for our wider community.
