Announcing the 2026 Summer Training
We are pleased to announce the re-launch of our Summer Training this July 2026! We’re in the early planning phase, but are excited to share what we’ve confirmed so far.
Date and Location
The 2026 Summer Training program will be held from Wednesday, July 29 through Friday, July 31, 2026, with an optional registration taking place on Tuesday, July 28. All sessions will be at the Edible Schoolyard in Berkeley, CA - located on the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Middle School campus.
Who It’s For
We are designing the 2026 Summer Training to serve people who are in the early stages of building an edible education program. Our vision is that this event helps propel forward emerging programs and organizations, with the intention of growing the overall movement of garden and kitchen-based education.
Application Process
We anticipate greater interest than we have capacity to host at the event, so priority will be given to applicants who are in the beginning phases of growing their edible education program, particularly those who are based in public schools. The application will be released in late February 2026. Stay tuned!
