Growing Chefs! Chefs for Children's Urban Agriculture is a non-profit society that brings local chefs and growers into elementary schools to teach kids about food, cooking, and gardening. Our mission is to inspire children with the idea that they can grow their own food, even in the city.
We also seek to:
- Support and encourage the development and growth of urban agriculture.
- Create a forum for chefs, educators, growers, community groups and families to work together to further awareness of food sustainability.
- Inspire a love of growing and eating sustainable food in young people.
