Pine Grove School

Our goal is to create a community supported, outdoor classroom and beautify school grounds by building a sustainable learning garden that serves the teachers and students at Pine Grove School. Our school is lacking the space to have a science lab. Through the creation of a edible learning garden, we will be providing an opportunity for all students at PGS to have access to an outdoor science lab to support our current curriculum. This will enable us to introduce a trial and error approach to learning and engage the minds of our students to problem solve through tangible results. Having a school garden presents a unique opportunity to teach about health and well being and can connect students to the environment and the world around them.
