Roswell North Elementary

The goals for our garden are to expand learning opportunities, increase academic achievement, and help students reach their full potential. We will provide creative outdoor learning environments such as outdoor classrooms and garden areas to support our school's project-based STEAM-focused education.
Our principal attended a greenhouse training program, and immediately set to work to bring the benefits to Roswell North. A dedicated committee of members of the PTA, Foundation, and other parents reached out to the Fulton County Master Gardeners and the Home Depot: Home Depot will provide the garden beds, materials, and labor, and the FCMG will provide knowledge, expertise, and assistance. We have already seen a terrific outpouring from businesses and the community; however, we still need basic supplies such as gloves, shovels, seeds – the things the students can use to get involved, get planting, and get learning.
