Semillas para una Nueva Humanidad

Currently we have a small garden where we plant vegetables that we use in the production of our school organic vegetarian lunch. We would like to build more gardens so we can produce 100% of the vegetables consumed in our school lunch and snacks. Sustainability is a strong focus of our school. For us is important to prepare our students for the future, teaching them to grow their own food given food safety and at the same time do workshops for the community on how to build their own gardens at home or business. Agriculture is part of our curriculum, but as a new school we are striving to get funds to help us expanding the production and help us build green houses for the seed production and to protect our plants.
