The Grove School Farm

The Grove School is a Montessori public charter school in Redlands which is located in San Bernardino County in California. Grove serves students from 7th to 12th grade. Grove is unique in that it is the only public Montessori school in the US with a working farm. The middle school is located on a working farm that has both livestock and organic garden produce.

The Grove School's middle school campus is located on a working farm.  Students have daily farm chores in which they tend to both livestock and organic produce that they are growing.  The Grove School has also started a local Farmers Market on Saturdays and is actively seeking local farmers to participate in its program.  We are actively seeking funding and partners so that we can spread the Edible Schoolyard projects to other schools in our county, San Bernardino which is one of the poorest in all of California.
