Texas School for the Deaf

Our goal is to involve our students in learning the lifetime love of gardening, the environmental impact and the
responsibility and pride in growing food and flowers. We want to support the effort to protect the butterffies and provide plants for the caterpillars and to teach the children about life cycles and our role as humans in care and nurturing life and the part we play in making the world a more green place. We want to grow vegetables to eat and learn about plants -plant life cycles, nutrition and health and how we can be a part of making a contribution to our own healthy life habits.
