Meridian World School is a publicly-funded tuition-free charter school offering the International Baccalaureate curriculum. Our mission: *We provide an invigorating educational environment that develops responsible citizens who can artfully navigate our complex world and enjoy a good life with others. *Each student engages in diverse investigations, disciplined inquiry, and integrated service learning to cultivate intercultural awareness, creativity and mental acuity. To help accomplish our school's mission, we created a Living Learning Lab (certified wildlife habitat with native plants, 3 turtles and 3 fish) and are currently building a Kitchen Community Garden. We will use these outdoor learning spaces to: *improve our community's quality of life, *provide beautiful outdoor learning settings, *connect gardening to myriad academic subjects, *create a sustainable recycling and compost program, *give back to our community through donating and selling our produce.
