New Orleans Center For Creative Arts

The goals of the Press Street Gardens are to create: a collaborative space for healthy local food production; a place for cultural preservation through the native and culturally significant plants garden; a home for Culinary Arts students to experiment with seasonal produce grown in NOCCA's backyard; and an outdoor lab for integrated humanities and science studies. This grant is a part of this project's long term financially sustainability. Support from the Whole Kids Garden Fund would be dedicated towards installing our permanent garden infrastructure.
