The garden will become a community-based activity encouraging cooperative work, problem solving and planning . It will also serve as a center for academic lessons in various subjects, hands-on learning and self-reliance. It will help students and others who work in the garden become aware of their own skills, build self-reliance, responsibility and commitment to the community.
