John Marshall Metro High School

John Marshall Urban Farm is less than 2 years old, part of the new John Marshall Campus Park dedicated in 2011. With vision, planning, design, coordination and hard work it is a school wide service- learning project. During spring break ,after school, during classes and summers the farm was restored and features added. The goal and look of the garden is sustainability. Chemically free vegetables, landscape design with vegetables, vertical planting, rain barrels, evergreen buffer, chicken coop for egg production, section for bees, composting, rain gauges, ~ 57 total beds constructed; [10 10
