About the Program:

At the Mansfield School District, we strive to provide a high-quality education that will provide our students with practical skills and help them to become well-rounded individuals. Through this community garden, students will have the opportunity to learn gardening techniques while integrating math, science, and history. Students will gain an appreciation for fresh, healthy foods and learn how to grow produce at their home. Through taste tests and contributions to the community, students will have the opportunity to eat what they grow. This garden will provide food for an established food bank and community members will be taught how to grow and maintain their own gardens at home.
