College View School

Our goal for this garden project is to create a fully functioning produce garden that all students, staff, and community members can be a part of. We want this garden to be used as a living laboratory to support teaching and learning. Students will have the opportunity to gain real-life knowledge of the necessary steps in food cultivation. While already active in numerous healthy living programs, this garden would allow College View students and community members to participate in the farm-to-table concept. It is our goal to harvest our own produce and build our curriculum, in all subject areas, around this active discovery and learning. We want our students to see, hear, feel, smell, and of course, taste the 'fruits' of their labor and learning.
