Ready, Set, GROW!

 Ready, Set, GROW! is a permaculture education program at Humboldt Park School in the Bay View neighborhood of Milwaukee, WI. The mission of the program is to provide the HPS community with education and resources to incorporate permaculture into their everyday lives, and to implement a permaculture garden at the school. 

In our first year our goal is to establish a community compost bin, hoop house, and gardens on site. We will also be developing classroom curriculum to teach permaculture concepts, and will be hosting fun seminars for families after school. We are working with the after-school and summer school program to capitalize on the opportunities those programs can offer us.
