Saturday, May 3: Plant Sale

We are excited to host our annual plant sale as part of a year-long celebration of the Edible Schoolyard Project’s 30th anniversary! Join us on Saturday May 3rd, from 9 am - 1 pm. Stock up on plants for your home garden, purchase Edible Schoolyard swag, participate in organized gardening tasks, and/or simply bask in the beauty of springtime in the garden! 

Proceeds support our organization’s general operating expenses so we can provide garden and kitchen education for all King Middle School students. Our program aims to enhance students’ food knowledge, climate stewardship, and sense of belonging, while also providing a thriving green space for our wider community. This year, we’re piloting an online pre-order option if you want to reserve your plants early!  Limited home delivery options are also available.

Special note: due to limitations of our greenhouse space and conditions, this year we have started plants in partnership with two local nurseries: Badger Ranch (organic practices, organic seed whenever possible) and Greenheart Farms (organic seeds and practices). Part of the proceeds from this sale will be directed to helping us update our greenhouse for successful future seedlings. We are extremely grateful to our partner farms for their support and collaboration!
