3.15.12 First Hooker Oak School Garden Market: A gradual 6 months of talking and planning "how to" have a school garden farmers' market came into being with such enthusiasm and support, we look forward to the every two wk market plan. School garden planted and tended heads of lettuce, bunches of red chard, small bags of broccoli, bouquets of flowers and herbs all added to the beauty radiating from the 3rd grade students who picked, washed and arranged the market table. Many students added to the splendor with their advertising campaign announcing the market with signs that dangled through school hallways the days preceeding the market day.
