I am currently a Garden Teacher at the Edible Schoolyard Berkeley. I graduated in the Spring of 2010 from UC Santa Cruz in Environmental Studies and joined the Edible Schoolyard staff as a garden educator in the fall of 2010. While studying at UC Santa Cruz I worked with Life Lab, located at the Center for Agro-Ecology and Sustainable Food Systems facilitating field trips for elementary schools. Since graduating, I have interned at 826 Valencia as a tutor in creative writing and worked with Citizen Schools to design an after-school program focused on gardening and sustainability.
