 After you have prepared your soil, go ahead and start planting your seeds and transplants! Remember those broccoli seedlings we were growing indoors? They’re growing up and will need a home bigger than their pots to support their roots. In this video we will return to those and go over the steps for hardening off, choosing when to transplant, and how to transplant your seedlings. Use this gardening activity to explore what and how new outdoor conditions will affect your plants. Or make it into a math lesson as you figure out where to place them into your garden.
