 In order for children to understand that food does not magically appear in the grocery store, it is important for them to learn about the production of food. The students will learn what it means to consume “local” produce and who produces this produce. Finally, through this lesson, the children will gain appreciation for the variety of fruits and vegetables that are grown in Georgia.
